Disclaimer: We have had some durability issues with this current batch of shoes. This is not a reflection on the model itself, but rather this specific batch seems to have had higher-than-usual failure rates with regards to the rubber sole of the shoe wearing out prematurely for some customers (so far, 6 customers out of the last 80 pairs sold).
What to expect: We normally expect these shoes to last for one full fencing season for fencers who train several times per week and compete regularly. With this batch however, we estimate the durability at around 6 months (2/3 of a fencing season), hence the considerable discount.
Warranty: Because it is impossible to tell if a pair is defective without a destructive test, we will cover your purchase with our warranty, so there is no risk to you if you happen to get a defective pair. If these shoes should fail before the 6-month mark, we will refund a prorated amount of the price of the shoes in relation to the amount of time they lasted, based on the following conditions:
What is covered:

- Defects of any kind in materials or workmanship (So far, no such issues)
- Premature wear of the rubber sole, specifically if an area of the multicolor sole wears through to the white rubber sole underneath. (So far, 4 customers)
- Tears or rips along the seams/stitching of the leather reinforcement on the side of the shoe. (So far, 2 customers)
What is not covered:

- Normal wear and tear
- Improper use, including repetitively dragging the rear foot on the piste
- Accidental damage
- Inappropriate storage
- Wearing the shoes outdoors or not for the practice of fencing
- Issues arising after 6 calendar months from the date of purchase
- Any other scenario not specifically listed in the "what is covered" section
How will I know if my shoes are defective?
If your pair of shoes is indeed defective, you will notice very quickly. So far, 5 customers have had their issues appear within 2 weeks of use, and 1 customer had their issue appear within 4 weeks.
How do I claim my warranty?
If your Kempa Attack - Multicolor shoes purchased from us via this product listing should fail prematurely, please do not hesitate to contact us by email, in store, or at our kiosk at a tournament.
You must have a paper or digital copy of your invoice to claim your warranty. The price you paid for the shoes (including tax, but excluding shipping fees or any other fees) will be used for the refund calculation.
As part of the warranty claim, we will need to assess the shoes. At our discretion, we may require you to send us pictures of the shoes or to return the shoes to us. We cannot process a warranty claim if we cannot assess the defect.
