This sabre guard is ambidextrous, which means it is suitable for both right-handed and left-handed fencers.

No tools required
This guard slips onto the blade, and the bottom of the finger guards clips onto the bottom of the handle. Although it holds firmly in place, this guard can be assembled and disassembled from the blade within a few seconds with very little effort. This means that you can easily fit a large amount of these plastic weapons in a traditional fencing bag, by transporting them disassembled.
Great for clubs and schools
All three types of guards (foil, epee, sabre) are fully interchangeable and all fit on the same model of Prieur plastic blade. This means that you can purchase, transport and store a minimal amount of equipment and still enjoy all the flexibility you need.
